Snowfest 2015
Saturday, February 21, 12 to 3 pm
Visit Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club for a free, fun family event open to the public! Cross-country skiing &  snowshoeing – gear in kids and adult sizes as available compliments of The Outfitter. 2. 5th Annual Taste of the North
Saturday, February 21, 12 to 3 pm
Sample delicious foods and wines from local restaurants and wineries. $10 admission includes 4 wine tastings!

3. Saturday Afternoon Ice Skating Games
Saturday, February 21, 1 to 3 pm
Pack up the family and head to the Harbor Springs Sk8 Park for some family fun! A complete schedule of activities and more information can be found on the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce website.

4. Innkeeper’s Buffet & Sleigh Rides
Saturday, February 21, 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Join us at Stafford’s Bay View Inn for a delicious winter buffet in the Rose Room and lovely sleigh ride through the historic community of Bay View! It’s Valentine’s Day, you know! All sleigh rides are weather permitting. Please call ahead for reservations, 231-347-2771.

Friday & Saturday, February 20 & 21, 8 to 11 pm
Head to the Noggin Room Pub to enjoy live music by Michelle Chenard (Friday) and Pete Kehoe (Saturday)! While you’re there, check a brew or two off your Hall of Foam list.

3. Free Fishing Weekend
Saturday – Sunday, February 14 – 15
Residents and visitors have the opportunity to fish the great and inland lakes this weekend – free! Regulations still apply.

Saturday, February 14
Watch people jump into the frozen Burt Lake for Michigan Special Olympics. This event is hosted by Hoppies on Burt Lake and money raised supports the Emmet, Charlevoix and Cheboygan chapters of Special Olympics. The event begins at noon, followed by the plunge at 1 pm. Bundle up and head to Kiwanis Park in Harbor Springs for a sledding party!

1. Groundhog Shadow Fest
Friday – Sunday, February 6 to 8
Weekend events include music by the Petoskey Steel Drum Band, chili cook-off, pancake breakfast, horse drawn wagon rides, kids games, magic show, euchre tournament, craft beer tent, retail sales and so much more! Visit the website to view the complete schedule of events and activities.

2. Winter Farmers Market
Friday, February 6, 9 am to 12:30 pm
The Winter Farmers Market offers locally grown and locally made products. Stop by North Central Michigan College’s Student & Resource Center to stock up!

4. Nordic Ski Adventure
Saturday, February 7, 10 am to 12 pm
Head north to Goodhart Farms Preserve to explore the 600 acres of Cross Country Ski Trails! Little Traverse Conservancy’s land protection specialist Caitlin Donnelly will lead the way. This is event is free but please call to register, 231-347-0991.

5. Winter Forest Snow Shoe Exploration
Satruday, February 7, 10 am to 12 pm
Challenge yourself with a snowshoe exploration of a hilly 140 acres near East Jordan, adjacent to the Raven Hill Discovery Center. Warm up with hot cocoa while enjoying the discovery center’s exhibits, $10 admission.
